3rd Year Update
September, 2024Dimitri has reached his third anniversary as a C4 quadriplegic patient. His recovery has amazed his large team at the Foothills Hospital, fellow physical therapists and our friends and family.
Dimitri will always be a spinal cord patient and have changes to his body that make day-to-day tasks a little more challenging. His determination, spirit and strength shine through all he does. He walks the dog, rides his bike from the west end of Cochrane to Gleneagles, ballroom dances, lifts weights, does agility exercises and does my Physio Yoga class. He routinely comes to Sunshine for Physio, Acupuncture and IMS which he responds very well too.
